Sketch Nomad is a free place to record your sketches, explore sketching locations and connect with other artists. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sketch Nomad.

These terms cover sketchnomad.com and sketchnomad.app. By using them, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Who can join

Artists worldwide are welcome. You must be at least 13, or meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal adulthood, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use Sketch Nomad.

Your account

Use accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. Tell us at info@sketchnomad.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Sketch Nomad is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we will explain their prices and terms before you choose to pay.

Your artwork stays yours

You keep ownership of the artwork, photos and other content you upload. Only upload content you own or have permission to share.

You give us permission only to store, process and display your uploads as needed to run Sketch Nomad. This includes resizing images and creating thumbnails. We display your sketch records according to your visibility settings. Our technical providers may process uploads to deliver these features.

We will ask for your permission before using your artwork in marketing, social media or any other use beyond providing the service. Making a sketch public does not give us that permission.

We never use your uploaded artwork to train AI models or give others permission to do so.

Our permission to use an upload ends when it is deleted, except for any limited storage described in our Privacy Policy. Making an artwork public does not transfer its copyright to us or to other visitors.

Artist profiles are public. You can choose whether a sketch record is public or private. Public sketches and their location tags can be seen by other people, and may be copied or indexed by search engines.

A private sketch record is hidden from public listings. Image files currently use public links, so someone with a direct image link may still be able to view the image. Please do not upload sensitive images that need restricted access.

Take care when sharing exact locations, especially your home or places you visit regularly. Location tags and map information may not always be accurate. Respect local rules, property and other people when visiting a location.

Respect the community

Do not use Sketch Nomad to:

Upload stolen artwork or violate anyone’s copyright or privacy.
Harass, threaten, impersonate or exploit another person.
Post unlawful content, spam or malicious software.
Access someone else’s account or interfere with the service.

You can report content or a copyright concern to info@sketchnomad.com. Include a link to the content and explain the concern.

We may remove content or suspend an account for breaking these terms, unlawful activity or a security risk. Where practical, we will explain the reason. Contact us if you believe we made a mistake.

Deleting your content or leaving

You can delete sketches through the app. Deletion removes the sketch record and its stored images from our active service; it cannot remove copies other people have saved. See our Privacy Policy for retention details.

To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, email info@sketchnomad.com from your account email address. We may need to confirm ownership before acting on the request.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep Sketch Nomad useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free maps or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of artwork that matters to you.

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available, without additional warranties. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date above and give notice through the service or by email before material changes take effect. If you disagree with the revised terms, you can stop using the service and request account deletion.

Singapore law governs these terms, while any mandatory protections that apply where you live remain available to you. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
